Aerial work platform and construction machinery rental in Mlada Boleslav
In Mlada Boleslav, aerial work platforms and construction machinery almost always work inside a running production system. The city is home to the largest single industrial complex in the Czech Republic - automotive production with press shop, body shop, paint shop, assembly and logistics, plus a dense belt of supplier companies. Anyone using machines here moves between cycle times, conveyor technology and approval processes. Working height is rarely the problem; the boundary conditions are.
Electric drive: not a recommendation in the hall, but a requirement
In production halls with ongoing production, the drive is not a question of comfort. Exhaust-free operation is a condition for approval, plus requirements for noise, non-marking tyres and ground pressure on coated industrial floors.
Electric scissor lifts are therefore the most requested class: 6.30 to 33.00 m working height with basket loads of 227 to 1,000 kg. For maintenance of plant components and media lines at 8 to 12 m, basket area matters most; for crane runways, hall lighting and roof equipment, models from 18 m are the right level. Where the working point is not vertically above a free area, electric articulating boom lifts with up to 28.00 m and 280 kg basket load take over. Every enquiry should also include the stowed height of the machine and the permissible ground pressure.
Conversion during shutdowns: the window is the planning parameter
Plant conversions do not take place during the running cycle but during shutdowns: weekends, breaks between shifts, longer stoppages. These windows are firmly scheduled, and several trades work in parallel on the same line within them. At the start of the window the machine must already be on site, with briefed operators and approved, not just arriving - plan delivery, plant access, instruction and handover as separate lead time. By arrangement, we reserve machines for fixed periods. The end is just as important: the area must be cleared before production restarts.
The rental fleet in figures

| High-rack scissor lifts | 18.50 - 33.00 m | 450 - 1,000 kg |
| Articulating boom lifts | 10.89 - 48.15 m | 150 - 450 kg |
| Telescopic boom lifts | 14.00 - 56.90 m | 227 - 454 kg |

Working over conveyor systems and paint lines
The typical conflict in an automotive hall: beneath the working point stands something that cannot be moved. Overhead conveyors, skid systems, paint shop booths, extraction and drying lines occupy the floor permanently. A scissor lift that rises vertically cannot reach the target there.
The answer is horizontal up-and-over reach. Articulating boom lifts with 10.89 to 48.15 m guide the basket sideways to the working point while the machine stands in the aisle. For roof trusses and equipment above freely accessible areas - outdoors and in new halls before fit-out - telescopic boom lifts with up to 56.90 m remain the class with the greatest reserve. Also clarify restricted zones: near conveyor systems, operators often specify slewing limits.
Rack aisles in the parts warehouse and the supplier belt
Parts and sequencing warehouses work with high, narrow aisles. For maintenance of racking, sprinklers, lighting and data points, high-rack scissor lifts with 18.50 to 33.00 m and 450 to 1,000 kg are designed for the job: narrow track, large lift height, enough payload for fitter and material. In the supplier belt around the city the picture is similar, only on a smaller scale. For workplaces without a drivable access route - rooftop structures above green areas, yards between halls - spider lifts with 13.00 to 39.50 m are available.
Telehandlers, excavators and forklifts for the plant and suppliers
Telehandlers handle material transport and installation lifts without a crane. Fixed models lift up to 18.80 m at 1.25 to 25 t load capacity - the heavy classes are in demand when setting plant components. For use inside buildings there are electric telehandlers with 5.85 to 30.00 m; in tight plant yards, roto models with 15.42 to 38.90 m work all around from one position. Excavators from 1.8 to 30 t cover site development, foundations, utility lines and interior demolition during hall conversions, plus forklifts from 3 to 16 t and high-lift pallet trucks with 2.70 to 5.50 m lift height.
Inspection, certificates and operator obligations in the Czech Republic
Which obligations apply is determined by the site. In the Czech Republic the key basis is Government Regulation No. 378/2001 Coll.; it contains a separate annex for equipment for lifting loads and persons. Inspection is carried out according to CSN EN 280, and the framework is set by the Labour Code (No. 262/2006 Coll.) and Act No. 309/2006 Coll. From us you receive the machine, inspection certificate, CE documentation and operating manual; the risk assessment, operator instruction and pre-use check remain with you.
In a plant of this size, the plant's own regime is added as a separate level: access and driving permits, safety induction, work permits, requirements for drive type and slewing range. These points belong before delivery because they help determine the choice of machine.
Transport to Mlada Boleslav
The distance from Passau to Mlada Boleslav is around 290 km, mostly by motorway. We organise transport with our own low-loaders and partner hauliers. Because plant access and briefing require lead time, we can register the vehicle and driver in advance on request. Long-term rental terms apply to maintenance contracts and conversion projects lasting several months.
